O sparrow from distant lands,

What is that sweetest word,

Which you heard all your life?

In the utterance of that word,

There is no fear, ache or pain,

No hunger, thirst or any desire…

The word is the best in any language,

The word is the source for every race,

'Mother' is that word, ruling the world…

Mother is the synonym for heaven,

Mother is address of an open heart,

Mother is a pool of cool moonlight...

Ma’s love fills an empty stomach,

Ma’s slap blesses cheek to turn rosy,

Ma’s shade is cooler than the snow...

Ma’s smiles are brighter than sun rays,

Ma’s touch has the comfort of a feather,

Ma’s eyes have the kindness of universe...

Forgive me Ma for hurting you sometimes,

I wish you a very Happy Mother's day,
