Karaoke Singing in the Caravan...

Continued from Sai Charan Unplugged... , Go Gentle Song... and A Tribute to Kishore Da...

Also, took motivation from: Singing at Sainsbury's Event! :)

I enjoy singing just as a hobby and never had any formal training so far. I often make mistakes when I sing - be it missing lyrics, wrong pronunciation or going out of tune. So please feel free to correct me wherever necessary and any suggestions from you are always welcome, so I can improve :)

Sang these songs yesterday evening in my caravan, hope you'll like them :)

A Tribute to Kishore Da - Phoolon Ke Rangse

So, here is the first song among the 4 which I recorded yesterday! The best thing about singing classics is - you enjoy the tune/music and also the feel the emotion, beauty and the meaning of lyrics.

The video was recorded using an iPhone 6. Choose "720p" in the settings, for a better viewing experience!

Below is the video from the film "Prem Pujari", one of Kishore Da's most popular songs featuring Dev Anand and Waheeda Rehman. Music by S.D.Burman.

For all my friends who don't understand Hindi, please check the translation of the song here --> Lyrics (scroll down on the page to see the translation)

Note: Please excuse the errors in my tune, lyrics or pronunciation - singing is only a hobby for me and never got a chance to learn music till now. But wish to learn and take up singing as a profession sometime in future.

You must've noticed in the video - how huge the back garden is - well, the video covers only one side of it, if you see all of it - it is like a kinda mini-playground!! It is a large 7 bedroom house, the landlady lives in this same house and she rents other rooms. I enjoy living here cause I spend a lot of time in this huge garden - just lost in nature, writing poems and singing my songs for the trees and grass!! :) I'll plan for an indoor recording next time, cause it was freezing in the garden!!!!

Hope you enjoyed this song, there are 3 more songs to follow as individual posts - but I'd say - its always good to enjoy one at a time rather than all at once, so keep singing/humming this one until you come across the next! :)

Have a Happy Sunday!! :)
