Look beyond the Pain Barrier...

Life in the comfort zone is limited and ordinary, but if you wanna achieve something of value, then you gotta look beyond the pain barrier...

Everyone wants to be successful but there are walls around stopping them from stepping forward - walls of failure, humiliation, insecurity and self-doubt. Pain is not just physical, it can be emotional, insecurity, loneliness, depression and of any other form - you need to accept it as a part of life.

Going through this pain barrier, experiencing aching and suffering - if you can go through it, that's what makes you a winner or a champion. Develop the guts to take up a challenge and don't care what happens, just go for it.

Pain grows in strength the more you avoid it and it is true in both emotional or physical pain - when you face it boldly, you don't feel the pain anymore, it diminishes.

For whom are you taking the pain? It is for your own good, to become stronger and to embrace success. It doesn't matter how many times you fall down, get injured or fail because it is all worth it in the end when you are successful.

Don't even think of negative thoughts, just banish them away from your thought process - because if you allow a doubt to rise in your mind, it will first defeat you in the mind then you'll be easily defeated in the body.

So, it is important to keep your mind strong and feed it with the visions of victory, no matter how crazy your goals may sound to others, always believe that your dreams are possible, that you can do it.

Pour life into your dreams, doesn't matter what people say, only think and speak positive words, cause your words have power and they will influence your mind directly.

In great times and happy surroundings, everybody can stay positive, it is easy but in times of adversity, in times of hardship, when life gets tough - that's when you gotta stay positive - that is what makes or breaks your life.

Tell yourself, "No matter what it takes, I will do it." You gotta persevere through pain, go beyond barriers of your mind, chase your goals and win them in the end. Don't expect things to be easy, you have to work hard for the best things in life.

Whatever your circumstances are, never surrender, never give up - only such 'never-say-die' attitude will help you fight the pain barrier and become successful in life.

Good luck, Cheers! :)

Comfort of a Hug :)

This post is a sequel to Hugs keep us Alive :) and In your Hug

The nicest thing about hugging is you can't give one without getting one in return! A hug is the simplest way of saying, 'yes, I care' :)

A good hug strengthens bonds, nurtures positivity, builds trust, connects people better, gives a sense of protection, safety and has various other health benefits. So if an apple a day keeps the doctor away, then a hug a day keeps the blues away! :)

Sometimes when you don't have words to express something very emotional to you, a hug can do the talking, just hug the person and let your thoughts be conveyed through a nice embrace.

There are people who paste an artificial smile on their face and hug just for the sake of it, such hugs are worthless. Never fake emotions, only express out what you genuinely feel at heart, let your face be the true mirror of your mind.

A hug that comes straight from the heart has a healing power in it, such hugs lead to release of hormones like serotonin which brings well being and happiness to the central nervous system and oxytocin(commonly known as the cuddle hormone) reduces stress, nervousness, anxiety, lowers blood pressure and improves memory.

Hugging drives away insecurity and boosts self esteem as it is like an energy exchange between two souls and leaves behind a warm snugly feeling :) There is always a need and want for a hug in the human mind but it is not exposed unless you come across a loved one whom you are meeting after a gap.

So, how many hugs are considered enough per day? Well, a family therapist gave an interesting answer to that question, "We need 4 hugs a day for survival. We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance. We need 12 hugs a day for growth", her name is Virginia Satir, she is an American author and psychotherapist.

Be welcoming when you are ready to hug, else it is better to offer a hand shake instead. Let hugs be true and hug as you really mean it, only then will both the people, the giver and receiver can get the happiness out of it :)

Here is a warm friendly hug, embrace it and generously spread your joy by hugging your family, friends and loved ones :)

Take care, have a lovely day :)

Poem: The Boy in the Mirror...

Poem: The Boy in the Mirror...

Colours of dusk
Filled the evening sky
As breeze blew gently

I was sitting near the window
And looked into the mirror
Hung on the opposite wall

I saw that cute little boy
Staring at me with innocent eyes
I knew him since he was born

He looked worried,
"Are you sure about where
You are taking my future?"

I smiled, "I won't let you down,
There is enough fire inside me
To brighten up your future self"

How deep is your Love?

So, what is deep love? And how deep is your love?

"Deep love is more than physical touch – it is being touched on every level, in every cell of your body, every oxygen molecule in your breathing, every firing neuron in your brain. We want to be touched by life until we are bursting and to share that uncontainable joy with others", said by spiritual teacher, Dave Oshana.

Deep love is a bond that forms when two people completely understand each other, it is knowing and being able to feel exactly how your loved one feels. It is not just about admiring their mannerisms, habits, the way they talk, the way they smile or how beautiful they look, but it is about opening the door of your soul to them, spreading light and warmth to their soul.

An American author and pastor, Robert Bell once quoted the following:

So, according to the author's opinion, deeper understanding between two souls happens when they are open and shameless to share about anything and everything, when there wouldn't be even a single secret hidden from their loved one, that's what is being naked, not a naked body but a naked mind, a naked heart and a naked soul. When there isn't one more thing about you that your partner doesn't know, that's when love is truly meaningful and complete.

How deep can true love be? Will it be deeper than an ocean? ;)

There's another quote that compares depth of love to depth of an ocean, "You love so deeply that it seems unfair to all the creatures in the ocean that never had the chance to experience such depth before" - author unknown.

(Click on pic to enlarge and read the quote)

The above quote says, "Yes, as you love deeply the ground of your heart will be broken more and more, but you will rejoice in the abundance of the fruit it will bear" - author unknown.

I believe, loving deep isn't that easy or comfortable cause when two people progress in love, as they further dive into the depths of love, they tend to slowly lose their individuality but together they arrive at a common ground and soon reach a state where its like one single soul living in two separate bodies, that infinite happiness is the real fruit of love.

Love, when paired with a transparent understanding between two souls is very fulfilling and rewarding! :)

Do let me know your opinions in the comments column, take care :) Have a nice evening! :)

P.S: A friend of mine asked me, "You write a lot on love and motivation, are you turning into a love guru or a motivational speaker?". I had a laugh. I told him, "I love writing, but its just a hobby and blogger gives a chance to share my thoughts and opinions with my family and friends. I enjoy writing on love cause its an intense feeling of pure affection that is sacred" :)
