My Laughing Selfies!!! ;)

Last time when I met my friends here in Kidlington, we discussed about the popularity of selfies on social networking sites and that led me to try out the below laughing selfies!!

A Tribute to Kishore Da - Phoolon Ke Rangse

So, here is the first song among the 4 which I recorded yesterday! The best thing about singing classics is - you enjoy the tune/music and also the feel the emotion, beauty and the meaning of lyrics.

Note: Please excuse the errors in my tune, lyrics or pronunciation - singing is only a hobby for me and never got a chance to learn music till now. But wish to learn and take up singing as a profession sometime in future.

You must've noticed in the video - how huge the back garden is - well, the video covers only one side of it, if you see all of it - it is like a kinda mini-playground!! It is a large 7 bedroom house, the landlady lives in this same house and she rents other rooms. I enjoy living here cause I spend a lot of time in this huge garden - just lost in nature, writing poems and singing my songs for the trees and grass!! :) I'll plan for an indoor recording next time, cause it was freezing in the garden!!!!

Karaoke Singing in the Garden!!! :)

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!! Today I've enjoyed some karaoke singing in the back garden and recorded few videos, need to upload them to youtube and will share them here as next post!! 

At home, I grew up listening to all my Dad's favourite songs - the classic Hindi filmi geet, sung by legendary singers like Kishore Da, Rafi Saab, Lataji, Mukeshji, Ashaji, etc and I used to sing their hit songs at family gatherings and parties!! Since many years, I've had this desire to sing and record classic songs with karaoke singing as my tribute to the legends. Finally today, I've made a start! :)

While writing poems, I often wonder if girls/women are more beautiful than flowers, whether they are more sweeter than flowers - Are they? That question eventually led me into writing the below poem today evening.

Irresistible in every imperfection,

Her fragrance so sweet in every breathe,

Naturally soothing her man with gentleness,

Her soul, sensitive and strong at the same time,

Simplicity and elegance in the right combination,

Well, flowers bloom only once in a lifetime,

But girls bloom every time they smile and laugh...

There are hundreds or may be thousands of Ikea commercials made individually to suit different countries and cultures across the world. But the teams that make these ads are really amazing, taking imagination used in modern TV commercials to the next level!

Whenever you spot these ads on the telly/youtube, they make you pause from whatever you're doing and give a thought to the brilliant idea hidden behind promoting those products - it's the use of nature's beauty, family bonding, human emotions, fun, etc.

Poem: The Dancing Bubble... :)

Morning, so bright, so sunny,

Leaves sparkling in shiny dew,

The sky, painted fresh,

With pure translucent blue,

She danced to the butterfly's tune,

Like a feather in gentle breeze,

Her soulful holographic light,

Brought the whole garden alive,

Such is the grace of a soap bubble,

Floating carefree in wind's loving arms...
