My definition of a Girl's Beauty...

A beautiful girl is one of the fine arts created by God.

Now tell me how do you measure a girl's beauty?

A girl's beauty does not lie in the physical shape or figure of her body, not in her fair/tanned skin, not in her long hair, not in her perfect teeth, not in her weight, not in her height, not in her age, not in her slim legs, not in the dresses she wears, not in her name.

A girl's beauty lies in her mind, in her heart, in her soul, in her personality, in her smile, in her laughter, in the way she thinks and in the way she speaks.

What makes a girl beautiful?

Her pure soul and her genuine smile which is a reflection of her soul makes a girl beautiful.

If a girl is reading this post - always remember that you are more than just your body - so focus on your inner happiness and don't worry on wearing make-up and most importantly choose a man who admires your personality, your heart and your soul.

If a guy is reading this post - always remember it doesn't matter if a girl is short or tall, if she has skinny legs or wide hips, what actually matters is what is inside her heart, what is inside her mind, what is inside her soul. Never judge a girl based on her physical body, you gotta learn her for what she truly is. Love her without makeup and understand that every freckle on her skin is beautiful.

Every girl must remember that, "You are the girl that some guy is praying for".

Have a great week!! :)

Cheers!! :)

Poem: A Happy Soul...

This morning was one of the most beautiful mornings of this year's spring. I was so happy to wake up to a clear blue sky full of bright sunshine :)

My heart was overflowing with joy admiring the beauty of nature and all I needed was a pen and a sheet of paper to express myself and let my feelings flow from the bottom of my heart.

I sat down on the porch and wrote this poem looking at the garden. Do let me know in the comments column if you find it nice.

Poem: A Happy Soul...

Sunbeams filter through

The window of my room

And dance on my eyelids

A cheerful grin breaks out

Across my face as I watch

The garden burst into life...

Young birds soar overhead

Singing songs of freedom

And resonate festive mood in the sky...

Colourful wildflowers bloom

Filling the air with perfume

And lift my spirits with joy...

Happiness seeps through

The corridors of my heart

And enters the nakedness of my soul...

Yes,

Indeed,

I am a happy soul...

Visit to Chichester & Bognor Regis...

Just like to share some pictures from my recent visit to Rolls Royce factory located in Chichester, Goodwood. Goodwood Plant is where the premium car of BMW Group is made. Rolls Royce Motor Cars Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of BMW. Went there with one of my colleagues from MINI Plant Oxford.

We stayed there for one night and returned back to Oxford the next day. We stayed at Annas bread and breakfast which was really good and is located only about 5 minutes drive from the factory.

The evening we reached Chichester, we wanted to breathe the sea and get some fresh sea breeze, so we visited Bognor Regis - it was nice and peaceful. And I am a big lover of the sea, beaches and sea breeze. It was quite windy when we were there but we enjoyed some ice cream at the sea front :)

My Summer Home :)

Dear Friends,

Hope you are keeping well. I have limited internet access at my new place, so didn't get a chance to write earlier.

I am excited cause my parents are gonna visit Oxford on 11th June and they'll be staying with me for one month. Well, one reason why I moved into my summer home is cause my parents love countryside, outdoors, bright sunshine and feeding animals. Second reason being the expensive house rents here in Oxford. So, instead of paying a fortune to rent a 2 bedroom house, I thought caravanning would be perfect.

Until last month, I thought caravanning is meant to spend holidays but I wondered what it'd be like to spend the whole summer in a caravan? I decided to try it this year!!! :) We are a family of nature lovers, so it's time to spend more time in the middle of nature.

My summer home is a caravan, I bought a second hand caravan which is in good condition. Yes it's a proper caravan - has a nice double bed and a bunk bed, so it can fit in 5 people easily. Has a built in fan heater, 4 hobs gas stove, grill, oven, sink, fridge, TV, wardrobe, a shower room and a toilet. The caravan is put on a pitch in the caravan park/farm, got electricity and 40 liters water tank with water pump and I have my own space next to it, a big square of land with fresh green grass. Went to Go Outdoors today and bought a Ground Sheet and installed it on my space. Put a table and 2 chairs. I'm planning to buy an Awning and fix it to the caravan and also may be a min-tent so when my parents are here, we can sit outside and eat.

The farm I live at is "Greenhill Leisure Park" located in Bletchingdon, find all the details and photos here --> http://www.greenhill-leisure-park.co.uk/gallery.htm. BMW Plant Oxford is just 20 minutes drive from this farm, so commute to work is not a problem at all for me. At the moment, I am sharing the car with one of my colleagues Peter who lives on the same farm in his own caravan and he was the inspiration for me to go for this option. I am planning to buy my own car soon.

Internet connection is the only problem at the moment, the wifi on the farm is bad and when there are more visitors on site, it becomes rubbish.

Been cooking some really delicious food since I've moved here. Breakfast is mostly - buttered toast with poached eggs or scrambled eggs and tea. And then butty for lunch - I make my own butties and take them to work. Dinner is the best food of the day - roast chicken, mashed potatoes, boiled peas and carrots - all served in yummy gravy. Or baked pasta topped with yummy cheese that melts and makes the pasta the best - I am a cheese lover, so anything that has cheese, I enjoy the food. And later in the night, the snack before going to bed is "Cheese and Crackers" - I can eat the whole pack in one go, they are so tempting!!!

Well, it's time for me to go now, I am planning to take a portable wifi device so I can be connected just like at home, been checking economical packages.

Below are some of the photos I've taken onsite. The week when school children had holidays, this farm was full of children and their families - lots of fun and really lively atmosphere around. It is quieter during the weekdays and gets lively over the weekends. There is a pub onsite, so you can always go and have a coupla drinks with friends and eat some food.

Click any of the below photos to view them as slideshow.

I missed capturing the lambs playing around in the farm, they are now sent to the riverside to graze there and they gonna be back to the hill next week. I've captured alpacas and pigmy goats, will share the photos in my next post.

Have a fantastic week ahead!! :)

Enjoy the summer!! :)

Take Care!! :)

Poem: Girls and Flowers...

While writing poems, I often wonder if girls/women are more beautiful than flowers, whether they are more sweeter than flowers - Are they? That question eventually led me into writing the below poem today evening.

Poem: Girls and Flowers...

Her skin delicate, soft as a petal,
Irresistible in every imperfection,

Her fragrance so sweet in every breathe,
Naturally soothing her man with gentleness,

Her soul, sensitive and strong at the same time,
Simplicity and elegance in the right combination,

Well, flowers bloom only once in a lifetime,
But girls bloom every time they smile and laugh...

Poem: The Dancing Bubble... :)

Started my year 2015 writing this poem. Wrote it first thing in the morning on the new year's day! :)

Poem: The Dancing Bubble... :)

Morning, so bright, so sunny,
Leaves sparkling in shiny dew,

The sky, painted fresh,
With pure translucent blue,

She danced to the butterfly's tune,
Like a feather in gentle breeze,

Her soulful holographic light,
Brought the whole garden alive,

Such is the grace of a soap bubble,
Floating carefree in wind's loving arms...

Poem: Joy of Spring :)

Since the last couple of months I've been writing either on motivation or love - did you get bored? Well, here is something different, a poem on spring season :)

Update on 02/05/13:
Revision: Narration style of the poem was revised to make it simpler and thoughts explained in detail :)

This poem celebrates the start of spring season, so the word, 'innocence' couldn't be justified in its title, so I've changed it to 'Joy of Spring' :) sounds relevant now isn't it? :)

I have thoughts to share on the innocence of nature so I started writing a poem titled, 'Innocence', will post it soon :)

Poem: Joy of Spring (Revised)

Shining sun lights up the sky
As morning dew forms pearls
Wind blows gently through the fields
As sheep graze and stare naively

Birds melodiously sing like a choir
As squirrels play in cool grass
Fragrant flowers start to bloom
As colourful butterflies fly along

Celebrations have already begun
With sweet surprises pouring in
The little girl giggles as the puppy laughs
Together they bring us the joy of spring :)

Poem: This Evening...

I wrote this poem today evening watching the sunset, hope you'll find it a nice read...

This evening so still and peaceful,

Look the birds are flying back home,

Wind whispers silently in my ears,

As clouds calmly float in the sky...

Nothing to be said, nothing to hear,

This moment, time feels like stopped,

I stare at the sky pondering in solitude,

There is just me and nature...

Some people don't like you...

Don’t worry about people that don’t like you. Enjoy the ones who do.

Not until recently did I realize that there are some people in my friends who don't like me.

I got habituated living 24 years of my life with a confident feeling that am accepted everywhere I go for the person that I am; people give back a smile which warms the heart but since last year it was hard for me to acept that there are some friends around me who dislike me for no reason or mistake of mine.

In your life, you meet a lot of people. Some you never think about again. Some, you wonder what happened to them. There are some that you wonder if they ever think about you. And then there are some you wish you never had to think about again. But you do.

How does it feel when you are disliked by someone whom you have a lot of value and respect for, never hurt them, whose friendship is precious to you, those you were always truthful and honest with?

You know - 'It really hurts'.

Its not a situation about chemistry between lovers, I say this in case of friendship.

Ofcourse am no saint to get accepted and liked by everyone, I know my setbacks and understand that I do repeat my mistakes sometimes but am working towards being a better human - you show me my fault, I'd give you a heart felt sincere apology.

I simply come to a conclusion that, "In life there is no need to please everyone, do what you believe, be honest to yourself and show your love and care to those who accept you for the person you are".

Have a nice weekend :) Take care :)

A Happy Heart! :)

Do you know? A happy heart is the key to a healthy life! :)

Yes, delicious aromatic food can keep the stomach happy, but what do you think can make the heart happy? I say all it takes is just a teaspoon each of love, care and affection that'll keep the heart happy :)

A true smile is the sign of a happy heart! Surprise a child with his favourite chocolate, the smile on his face would be priceless cause like a mirror, it reflects his heart. Most of the times we see people with fake smiles, but rarely do we see them smiling from their hearts.

Its so easy to get along with people who are happy hearted, kind and caring, they always have a listening ear for what you like to say, they show concern towards you, accept you for the person you are and give a honest opinion whenever you need.

So, allow your heart to be simple, honest and open, that way you feel much lighter, just like a floating feather, like a crystal clear glass of water or a fresh sheet of white paper.

Stay happy, stay healthy! Heres the smile for the day! :)

A Stroll in the Gosford Green...

Who wouldn't like a lazy leisurely stroll in a peaceful park? The clock ticked 5:30pm as I returned home from the university, on my way I was greeted by "Gosford Green" - one of those beautiful parks in Coventry, with freshly trimmed grass and lovely trees!!

As I neared the park, I felt relieved by the cool breeze that blew across, after a tired day at the university. My bag weighing my back, headphones ringing some songs in my ear, I checked the time and it was 5:45pm, oh! it'd be 10:15pm in India, I immediately dialled home.

I walked through the park as I talked to Mom, feels good talking to parents, their voice is reassuring and comforting at the same time.

After having a conversation of about 20mins with them, I still sat there on a bench, could spot a little lad playing with a colourful ball, he throws it to his dad, his dad throws it further back.

I got reminded of those days when I was in school, my Dad used to take me to public gardens in Hyderabad and I used to study there for a while under the tree, then play, then study a little more and play again.

I looked at the boy as he jumped and rolled in the grass, it made me smile, those days were so carefree, days gave way to weeks, months and years, time flew so fast, was it just yesterday when I was a 5 year old and my dad so tall that I'd lift up my head to talk to him?

The sun was still shining, these English summers see sun setting not until at least 9:30pm. The grass was so clean and fresh, it felt like a carpet as I put my bag aside and lay on the grass. I watched clouds peacefully drifting and floating on a blue sky background!

As I watched the fluffy puffy clouds, I recollected a poem by Christina Rossetti:

Clouds
by Christina Rossetti

White sheep, white sheep,
On a blue hill,
When the wind stops,
You all stand still,
When the wind blows,
You walk away slow.
White sheep, white sheep,
Where do you go?
