Well, ask me why?
- Cause I'm honest, real, trustworthy and authentic soul. A man who is free from deceit and sincerely feels and expresses himself.
- I've got nothing to hide, nothing to cover up, nothing to fake.
- I make a lot of mistakes, but realise and accept them.
- I'm not perfect and I can be rubbish at certain things but I can be the best too - I'm just as human when it comes to failing, learning and growing wiser.
- I choose my thoughts and actions based on values and not for personal gain.
- I'm confident of who I am, I follow my beliefs, have my own opinions and speak straight from my heart.
- If I care for you, then I'm there for you no matter what - doesn't matter how you look like, doesn't matter what you do for a living, doesn't matter how much money you have - I'll be there for you once I commit.
- I walk into work and everyone greets me with smiles and enthusiastic hellos. I shake everyone’s hand, get pats on the back, and just my presence leaves the entire place feeling more uplifted. I'm friends with everyone and my boss appreciates everything that I do.
Well, I gotta stop bragging about myself now, I do that sometimes just to feel happy about myself - I do that to remind myself that I need not change - I need to just carry on the way I am.
The other day I was talking to my Mum and phone and she told me she is sad to see me single and she likes me to have a girlfriend. I started talking to her about all the girls I had crush on since childhood and in some corner of my heart I still have a place where I hold a memory of each and every one of those girls smiles.
Then I started talking about the girl I had crush on for years and I told my Mum how much I miss her and it is so unreal that she doesn't have any kinda feelings for me. I talked about the quote, "When you want something really bad, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." - I always believed these words in my life and they came true in every case except love. For some reason, the universe doesn't listen to me about love.
I talked about my crush for almost half an hour. And my Mum patiently listened, took a pause and she said, "You told me you moved on, but looks like you still love her, don't you?".
And I said, "I wish my heart listened to me, but it has a mind of it's own".
