Poem: My Evening Sky :)

Wrote this poem this evening, spent all of the evening sitting in the garden and staring at the sky, I penned down thought-by-thought on fresh sheets of white paper :)

I've started the poem at the beginning of sunset and by the time I've finished it, it was dusk and I could hardly see what I wrote in my notebook, the sky was that dark! lol ;)

When you read it enjoy the lines written by a romantic heart with genuine feelings! :)

Poem: My Evening Sky :)

I was staring at the evening sky,

And there you were, right in the middle,
Wearing those large silver hoop earrings,

Looking at me and giggling innocently...

I've never seen a face so sweet as yours,

Eyes full of care, humbleness in every blink,

So pure, tender and gentle you are my princess,

So lovely, confident, funny, chatty, an angel you are, really!

Finally your eyes broke the silence, "It's getting darker, go indoors",

"Let me enjoy this bliss of your thoughts", my eyes gave the reply.

"You are but a hopeless fool, aren't you?", you laughed out loud.

"Yes I am a fool who worships you as goddess in the altar of my heart."

"I offer you my trust, faith, strength, courage and freedom,

My heart, soul, spirit, breathe, every cell, atom and particle.

Then, you walk through my veins, flow in my bloodstream,

And purify every chamber of my heart with your sacred sweetness".

Feels Great!! :)

Signed up for the gym membership today, was on the plan since long and feels great to have done it today and spent this evening trying out a variety of training equipment!!

Exercise is a wonderful stress reliever, a good workout helps you feel better, doesn't matter what kinda workout you do, just pick something that you enjoy, start doing and get your body moving! :)

Spent around two hours working on the machine bench press, ab cruncher, shoulder press, dumbbells, chest press, done some running on the treadmill, stationary bicycling, etc was really cool, enjoyed it.

So, the goal is to get the muscles growing in shape - chiseled six pack abs, strong biceps and sculpted shoulders!! Most important is to have a proper fitness regimen, the right diet, a healthy lifestyle and a relaxed mind :) Enjoy what you do!! :)

Poem: Do you know how to love your girl?

After my previous post, some of my friends asked me, "Why do you write on love/romance always? Don't you get bored of writing on the same topic?"

My answer was, "I really enjoy writing on love and romance, makes me happy and I believe that love is the key ingredient which makes life beautiful :)

If poetry is food, then a love poem is like 'a freshly baked piece of cake' and romance is the delicious whipped cream icing on it and kisses are like cherry toppings on the cake :) 

And I'm a very sweet toothed poet who can enjoy making and having a poetic piece of love cake every day and it can never get boring cause I'd choose a variety of romantic flavours and fruit toppings to add more passion to life ;)

Well, here's another simply yummy romantic piece of cake, wrote it this evening, do enjoy reading it :)

Poem: Do you know how to love your girl?

When clouds of sorrow rain tears of pain in her eyes,

Hold her tender in your hug stretching your soul across her sky,

And let her bake in the warmth of your heart's sunshine...

Plant your feather light kisses on her delicate eyelids,

Show her happiness through the window of your world,

Till a comforting rainbow smile springs up in her sky...

Finally, say something so funny that she'd laugh her head off.

If you can do that for her any time of any day,

Then you sure know how to love your girl...

Someday she's gonna ask me,

"What do you think is love?

Is it a fruit of tender caring

Or a rewarded pleasure 

Of mutual nurturing?"

She'd probably think I'd say,

"Love is an overwhelming longing,

A heart pounding experience,

And a precious eternal emotion

Out of unconditional devotion"

What I'd actually say is,

"Darling, love is when we

Together erupt into laughter

 At a secret joke only we know

And people around never understand why"

Poem: The Swimming Pool Sky...

Wishing a Happy Women's day to every woman across the globe! You all make this world a wonderful place! :)

Wrote this poem today evening, sat down in a chair in the back garden with my notebook and pen. Was so nice, quiet and peaceful - we all enjoy such tranquil moments, don't we?

I sat there staring at the beautiful sky and it looked to me like a swimming pool :)

Just a Review :)

Well, so let's have a casual look at the first poll result which explains some good points :)

I've made this post more like a conversation with my dear readers rather than addressing it like a formal council circular notice! ;)

• Apparently, this blog has only 7 readers, so I need to make more friends here on blogger :) 

• Many thanks to the 5 friends who think the new look is super, thank you for being so kind :) 

• I'm even more thankful to the 2 friends who think this blog can look better :) 

• If I had a wider reader friends circle, I am sure I'd have got 'Crap' as a vote too ;)

To be honest, what the blog looks at the moment is OK but we can always try out new styles and colours till we can find a really great one. I believe that unless we try out something we'd never know how its gonna work out, so this present design is not final, we'll keep checking other good ones as well :)

When I first started to play with the blog designing, I realised that the two most important aspects that stand out are - firstly the colour and second, the layout. Layout is easy unless you really want some out-of-the-box stuff.

Let me talk a bit about colours now. In my childhood, navy blue was my all time favourite colour, I used to choose t-shirts in navy blue with stripes and designs of white and red. But since I started to wear suits for interviews and presentations after graduating from college, I started to love black cause a black suit with a white shirt looks very smart and elegant than any other colours.

So I wanted my kinda colours on the blog which are - navy blue, white and black - so I started with navy blue and it somehow didn't look great, then I tried out black and it seemed alright. But black again doesn't suit on everything - it works only in a certain way.

I went with this darkish kinda page colour cause I thought it'd look good when I share videos this summer - of me singing, dancing, playing guitar, etc - hopefully I can get them recorded by my wonderful friends :) 

Coupla weeks ago, all of our friends met up was at a friend's birthday party and we've done one group dance and I've danced solo for one other song. I've asked one of my mates to make a video on the handy cam but that guy was a lazy ass, he recorded it on his phone instead, the dance was awesome but basically his phone is rubbish and the video quality is shit. And when I asked him, "What the flippin heck is this?". He said, "You gotta ensure there is proper bright lighting. Take it easy, dance again and I'll record again".

Anyway, I've got some great plans coming up for this summer, lots of singing with the guitar, I am trying for a chance to sing for a local Indian band here, they'd like me to attend a practice session with them sometime during the Easter vacation and hopefully I'll get the chance and also I'll do some dancing too :) I really wish to participate in TV talent competitions like the X factor, etc but I've gotta raise my level of proficiency to show it as more than just a hobby, will work towards that, we'll see how it goes :)

So coming to the blog, let's carry on with this design for the time being, but if I find something better, we'll try that out!! :) Until then, keep visiting here my dear 7 precious readers, let's make that 7 into 14, 21,......and someday 70 lol  we can keep dreaming and attempt to move forward step by step, what do you say? ;)
