I strongly believe that the key for a happy relationship is "communication".
Conversation is very important cause it develops the connection between the two. It gives a deeper comprehension of each other. So in case problems or misunderstandings arise, the honest communication helps you to discuss and explore solutions in an early stage.

As weekdays are always busy, make sure to spend the weekends together - go for a lazy long walk, talk for hours, give time to think about each other, enjoy dinner together and continue to chat away. Or spend all of Friday evening and night reading a novel together in bed, watch a movie and talk to each other, share experiences of the week - be it happy or sad moments - it will all help to strengthen your bond.
Reading a novel out for her or may be just hold it close so both of you can together read silently
Sometimes it is hard to find time to communicate when there is so much going on in our daily lives, especially with work - but it is definitely worth taking the time out.
"Cause here we are again in the middle of the night dancing 'round the kitchen in the refrigerator light"
Always reach out and touch each other even during times when you both feel hopeless. Try making it a compulsory rule to hug each other after a disagreement or an argument. After every misunderstanding both feel bad but swallow your pride and give each other a close bear hug even if you just had an argument. The hug will make you both forgive each other quickly.
"You're a bit close," she whispered. "I know," he grinned. He was right in front of her. Barely a breaths width between them. But not touching. The sky began to mist down on them but neither moved. She was trapped. By some spell. Keeping her eyes and body locked into place. A slow smile appeared out of nowhere and creeped up her face, "You gonna do something, or just stand there?". She thought he'd move away. Break the spell. He didn't.
Make her laugh outdoors
Make her laugh indoors
Most importantly, make her laugh in bed...
